Our Story

Cedar & Canvas started from a simple WhatsApp message - one of those unexpected but defining moments. One day, my close friend messaged me out of the blue: "Should we start a business together?" At the time, we were both stuck in our 9-to-5 routines, craving something different, something that felt more like us.

As we bounced around ideas, I thought: Why not tote bags? But not just any totes - ones that pay homage to our heritage, Lebanon, and bring a touch of Levantine beauty into everyday life. I've always loved fashion and had a passion for creativity, so this felt like the perfect way to bring my ideas to life.

Though we didn’t end up starting the business together, that message was the spark that ignited it all. And so, Cedar & Canvas was born. While I now run this brand on my own, I’ll always be grateful to my friend for planting the idea and for that message that started it all.
